‘Medical and Scientific Aid for Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia’ (MSAVLC) was set up in 1965, and has operated since then with only volunteer staff. An enabling organisation, providing medicines and medical equipment so that doctors and nurses can carry out the work they are qualified and eager to do. The emphasis is on grass-roots, primary health care projects, generally in response to specific requests.
The projects we support are helping the blind to see, and helping the deaf to hear as well as providing help for victims of chemical weapons such as Agent Orange
By restoring lost faculties, we aim to restore self-reliance and independence.
In order for MSAVLC to continue to help people and sustain longstanding projects in each of these countries, it is vital that we raise funds. The needs are enormous and our response limited only by our bank balance.
