Donate to MSAVLC

Why Donations Are Needed?

The charity is run exclusively by volunteers. Our overheads are minimal; every possible penny goes where it is needed. By concentrating on primary health and responding to specific requests, it is surprising what even modest funding achieves. The needs are enormous and our response limited only by our bank balance.

Where Donations Are Spent

Repair of hare lip and cleft palate; cataract operations treatment and prevention of trachoma; training in modern methods for "traditional" midwives; alleviation of suffering and provision of wheel-chairs for Agent Orange victims; treatment of TB in the community; provision of hearing aids for children.. Giving self-reliance and independence.

Ways To Donate

Standing Order

The best way to make regular donations is to set up a Standing Order. You can pay monthly, quarterly or annually. If you receive our bulletin, you can use the form that came with it. Otherwise, print the form here, complete parts A and C and send it to the address shown at the top of the form. If you are able to Gift Aid your payments, also complete part B – we can then claim the tax back from HMRC to boost your donations. For more information, go to our Gift Aid page.

Cheque

If you’re in a hurry, you can just pop your cheque in an envelope and send it to John Firth (Asst Treasurer – MSAVLC), 5 Cleevemont, Evesham Road, Cheltenham GL52 3JT. Make it payable to MSAVLC. But it will help our record keeping if you can use our donation form.

PayPal

If you would like to make a donation via PayPal (an online transaction facility) log onto your account as normal and make the donation to donate@msavlc.co.uk

Charities Aid Foundation (CAF)

CAF’s range of services offer flexible ways for you to give tax-effectively, keep track of your giving and donate almost anywhere in the world. Have a look at the CAF website.

eBay

eBay’s initiative “eBay for Charity” is an easy way to support charities while buying and selling on eBay. Buyers can bid on eBay for Charity items knowing that they are helping a worthy cause and sellers can donate a percentage of their sales to certified charities. Charities can also sell items directly in the eBay marketplace.

You can benefit MSAVLC by selling an item on eBay and designating a percentage of your profit to the charity. You can also contribute by purchasing an item which has a proportion of the profit pledged to MSAVLC.
